French for pear, Poire Baskets are pear shaped, wide at the bottom tapered at the top.
Not your average woven basket, these are hand crafted by artisans and made from marsh cedar wood (body), poplar (handles) with a plywood base. The natural characteristics of the marsh cedar makes each piece unique. Simple in shape and color, these baskets are great for store display. For home use, the Poire Baskets can be used as a home décor accessory, ideal for potted plants or storage.
Please do not plant directly into basket, use an impenetrable liner as a base layer.
